1. What are the reasons why a GetLac or gel product does not cure completely?

There are several possible causes:

✔️ Incomplete UV/LED spectrum lamp – many old, weak, or fake lamps do not emit the full necessary spectrum (ideally 365–405 nm).

✔️ Insufficient curing time – generally, each layer should be exposed for at least 60–90 sec. in LED or 120 sec. in UV.

✔️ Layer applied too thick – product with pigment content, when applied in a thick layer, does not harden completely in depth.

✔️ Worn-out lamp or burnt-out LEDs – performance drops significantly after 12–18 months of frequent use.

💡 Solution: use a professional lamp, periodically check light intensity, and apply the product in thin/medium and even layers.

2. What happens if I do not cure each layer sufficiently?

The product layer remains soft or sticky, even after applying the top coat, which can lead to:

– shortening the lifespan of the manicure

– color peeling at the edges

– loss of shine and the appearance of wrinkles or waves

– risk of adverse reactions if the product remains active on the nail

How to use

120 sec. in a 36W UV lamp

60–90 sec. in an LED lamp

Prepare the natural nail correctly and completely (degreasing, cuticle removal, and buffing the nail with a Pro Buffer File)
Apply Nail Prep, then Primer, and allow 30-40 seconds
Apply the base coat, e.g., Bonder Base or GetLac Rubber Base 1 Clear, polymerize, and then create the apex using any preferred Rubber Base
Polymerize for 60–90 sec. in LED or 120 sec. in UV
Apply a thin, sliding coat of GetLac Colour (with precision in the cuticle area) and do not polymerize
Apply a second, medium coat of color for intensity and polymerize completely
Apply your preferred finish gel and polymerize completely

Attention! For an intense and long-lasting shine, it is recommended to degrease it (if applicable) approximately 2-3 minutes after finishing polymerization

After approx. 2 minutes, apply Cuticle Oil to hydrate the skin
