💡 How do you apply the Rubber Base?

❓ Frequently asked questions:

1. What are the reasons why the product does not polymerize completely?

There are several possible causes:

✔️ Lamp with incomplete UV/LED spectrum – many old, weak, or fake lamps do not emit the complete required spectrum (ideally 365–405 nm).

✔️ Insufficient polymerization time – generally, each layer must be exposed for at least 60–90 sec. in LED or 120 sec. in UV.

✔️ Layer applied too thickly – product with pigment content, applied in a thick layer, does not harden completely deep down.

✔️ Worn lamp or burnt-out LEDs – performance decreases significantly after 12–18 months of frequent use.

💡 Solution: use a professional lamp, check the light intensity periodically, and apply the product in thin/medium and even layers.

2. What happens if I don't polymerize each layer enough?

The product layer remains soft or sticky, even after applying the top coat, which can lead to:

– shortening the lifespan of the manicure

– lifting of the color at the edges

– loss of shine and the appearance of creases or ripples

– risk of adverse reactions if the product remains active on the nail

💡 Solution: for safe and durable results, respect the indicated polymerization times and ensure that each layer is completely hardened before applying the next one.

Keep them away from heat and direct light, clean their neck after each use, and close the cap tightly.

10. What is the Frame Sticker and how do I use it?

How to use

120 sec. 36W UV

60/90 sec. LED

Prepare the natural nail by removing its shine and, of course, the cuticle area - do not forget to remove any traces of dust and degrease the nail plate. You can use GN Pure Acetone or GN Nail Prep.
Apply one of the following, as preferred: 007 Bond Primer / Primer Ultra Bond / Primer Acid Based / Primer Pen - only on the natural nail, to increase adhesion. For nails with adhesion problems or during summer, we recommend Primer Acid Based or Primer Pen Acid.
After 30-40 seconds, apply a base coat over the entire nail and cure completely.

Due to the colored pigments in this rubber base, we recommend that the first layer (the base layer) be made with Bonder Base Gel, Rubber Base 1 Clear, GetLac Base - Liquid Base, GetLac Base & Finish, or NA Fiber Base.

Apply a 1st slip layer followed by a 2nd layer of Rubber Base and cure completely.
Apply Top coat and cure completely.

If necessary, degrease the dispersion layer with Cleanser.

Attention! For an intense and long-lasting shine, it is recommended to degrease with Cleanser approximately 2-3 minutes after the curing process is complete.

Apply cuticle oil for a well-groomed look.

Our Rubber Bases do not contain acrylic acids, methacrylic acids, or other free acids.

Due to the small size of their molecules, acrylic or methacrylic acid easily penetrates into the deeper layers of the nail plate, thus destroying it.

In addition, acrylic or methacrylic acid is a strong allergen.

Instead of acids, our Rubber bases use BIS (METHACRYLOYLOXYETHYL) PHOSPHATE as an adhesive in a concentration of up to 4.3%.

BIS (METHACRYLOYLOXYETHYL) PHOSPHATE is an ester of phosphoric acid.

An ester is a reaction product between acid and alcohol to form a larger molecule.

It has a more complex formula and a higher molecular weight compared to acrylic or methacrylic acid.

Due to this, it does not penetrate the nail plate, does not destroy it, and does not cause a cumulative effect that could lead to allergies.

Shake the bottle gently before application

Pigments may settle – gentle movements ensure homogenization without bubbles.

Apply the first layer very thinly, as a "slip layer"

It provides the ideal base for the second layer – which brings the desired intensity.

Keep in a cool environment away from direct lamp light

You prevent the product from thickening or polymerizing prematurely and maintain ideal fluidity.

Warm the bottle slightly if the product seems too dense

Hold the bottle in your hands for 2–3 minutes – the viscosity becomes perfectly balanced.
