Rubber Base 4 Powder Pink is a Rubber base in a delicate, slightly muted powder pink shade. It is suitable for the protection and leveling of the natural nail, French, babyboomer, manicures in natural tones, or worn as is.
The Rubber formula with its medium, honey-like, self-leveling texture provides control during application, allows for the leveling and protection of the natural nail, and enables the creation of a discreet apex.
It is part of the POWER COUPLE collection – the same shade, available in two professional formulas: Rubber Base and Builder Gel - for situations where the working technique or the technician's preference requires a different formula.
Color intensity may vary slightly between the Builder Gel and the Rubber Base, depending on the formula, the amount of product, and the application technique.

💡 How do you apply the Rubber Base?
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
1.1. What is Rubber Base and what is it used for?
Rubber Base is a manicure base with a thicker texture and self-leveling properties, used for adhesion, protection, and leveling of the natural nail. It allows for correcting small irregularities and creating a discreet apex while maintaining a natural nail look.
2.2. Can Rubber Base be applied to the natural nail?
Yes. Get Nails Rubber Base is designed for application on the natural nail for protection, leveling, and creating a discreet apex. Proper preparation of the nail plate and choosing the right adhesion system are essential for the durability of the manicure.
3.3. Can an apex be created with Rubber Base?
Yes. The medium, honey-like, and self-leveling texture allows for creating a discreet apex on the natural nail for leveling and protection. However, Rubber Base does not replace Builder Gel when the technique requires construction or extension.
4.4. What base is applied under pigmented Rubber Base or base with various particles?
For optimal adhesion, we recommend applying a thin layer of Clear base first. For Get Nails Rubber Base, depending on your work system, you can use Bonder Base Gel, Rubber Base 1 Clear, GetLac Base – Liquid Base, GetLac Base & Finish, or NA Fiber Base, followed by the pigmented Rubber Base.
5.5. Why does the Rubber Base not polymerize completely?
Insufficient polymerization can have several causes:
✔️ Layer too thick – especially in the case of pigmented bases, light may not penetrate deeply enough into the material.
✔️ Insufficient polymerization time – respect the recommended time for each layer: 60–90 sec. MultiLED/LED or 120 sec. UV 36W.
✔️ Lamp with incomplete UV/LED spectrum – old lamps, unsuitable lamps, or those with insufficient performance because they do not emit the complete required spectrum (ideally 365–405 nm). A spectrum compatible with the product is necessary.
✔️ Worn lamp or defective LEDs – lamp efficiency can decrease over time, which is why periodic checks are recommended.
💡 Recommendation: apply the product in thin/medium and uniform layers, respect the polymerization time, use a professional compatible lamp, and periodically check its efficiency.
6.6. What happens if the Rubber Base is not polymerized correctly?
The material may remain insufficiently polymerized in depth, even if the surface appears hardened. This can affect the durability of the manicure and may lead to lifting, wrinkling of the material, or adverse reactions due to exposure to insufficiently polymerized product.
💡 Solution: Respect the recommended layer thickness, polymerization time, and periodically check lamp performance.
7.7. Why does the Rubber Base wrinkle in the lamp?
Most frequently, wrinkling occurs when pigmented product is applied in a layer that is too thick or does not receive enough energy for complete polymerization. Apply controlled and uniform layers and respect the recommended polymerization time.
If the problem persists, check the performance and compatibility of the lamp.
8.8. Why can the Rubber Base crack or lift?
The causes can be diverse and may include improper preparation of the natural nail, contamination of the plate with dust, oil, or other residues, unsuitable choice of adhesion system, incorrect product application, insufficient polymerization, or choosing a formula that is not suitable for the stress on that specific nail.
💡 Recommendation: for optimal results, properly prepare the nail, use the appropriate adhesion system, and respect the technique and recommended polymerization times.
9.9. How should Rubber Base be stored correctly?
Keep the product tightly closed, in a cool place, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and UV/LED light. While working, avoid exposing the bottle and brush to lamp light and periodically clean the neck of the bottle before closing it.
10.10. Are POWER COUPLE Rubber Bases HEMA Free?
Yes. POWER COUPLE Rubber Bases have a HEMA Free formula, just like the Builder Gels in the corresponding shades, so you can choose between the two formulas while keeping the same shade.
The absence of HEMA can be an important criterion for technicians and clients who want to avoid this ingredient, known for its potential to cause sensitization.
11.11. What is the Get Nails Frame Sticker and how is it used?
Each Get Nails Rubber Base bottle comes with a Frame Sticker - a decorative self-adhesive accessory created for the designated area on the packaging. It is applied to the bottle for identification, elegant display of colors, and a uniform look for the collection in the salon.
