The HEMA-Free Rubber formula with a medium, honey-like, and self-leveling texture offers control in application, allows for the uniformization and protection of the natural nail, and the creation of a subtle apex.

1.1. What is Rubber Base and what is it used for?

Rubber Base is a manicure base with a thicker texture and self-leveling properties, used for adhesion, protection, and leveling of the natural nail. It allows for correcting minor irregularities and creating a subtle apex, while maintaining a natural look of the nail.

2.2. Can Rubber Base be applied to the natural nail?

Yes. Get Nails Rubber Base is intended for application on the natural nail as well, for protection, leveling, and creating a subtle apex. Proper preparation of the nail plate and choosing the right adhesion system are essential for the durability of the manicure.

3.3. Can an apex be created with Rubber Base?

Yes. The medium, honey-like, and self-leveling texture allows for the creation of a subtle apex on the natural nail, for leveling and protection. However, Rubber Base does not replace Builder Gel when the technique requires construction or extension.

4.4. What base should be applied under a pigmented Rubber Base or one with various particles?

For optimal adhesion, we recommend initially applying a thin layer of Clear base. For Get Nails Rubber Base, depending on your work system, you can use Bonder Base Gel, Rubber Base 1 Clear, GetLac Base – Liquid Base, GetLac Base & Finish, or NA Fiber Base, followed by the pigmented Rubber Base.

5.5. Why does the Rubber Base not polymerize completely?

Insufficient polymerization can have several causes:

✔️ Layer too thick – especially in the case of pigmented bases, light may not penetrate deeply enough into the material.

✔️ Insufficient polymerization time – follow the recommended time for each layer: 60–90 sec. MultiLED/LED or 120 sec. UV 36W.

✔️ Lamp with an incomplete UV/LED spectrum – old lamps, unsuitable lamps, or those with insufficient performance because they do not emit the complete required spectrum (ideally 365–405 nm). A spectrum compatible with the product is required.

✔️ Worn lamp or defective LEDs – the lamp's efficiency can decrease over time, which is why periodic checking is recommended.

💡 Recommendation: apply the product in thin/medium and uniform layers, follow the polymerization time, use a compatible professional lamp, and periodically check its efficiency.

6.6. What happens if the Rubber Base is not polymerized correctly?

The material may remain insufficiently polymerized deep down, even if the surface seems hardened. This can affect the durability of the manicure and may favor lifting, wrinkling of the material, or the appearance of adverse reactions due to exposure to insufficiently polymerized product.

💡 Solution: Observe the recommended layer thickness, polymerization time, and periodically check the lamp's performance.

7.7. Why does the Rubber Base wrinkle in the lamp?

Most frequently, wrinkling occurs when the pigmented product is applied in too thick a layer or does not receive enough energy for complete polymerization. Apply controlled and uniform layers and follow the recommended polymerization time.

If the problem persists, check the lamp's performance and compatibility.

8.8. Why can the Rubber Base crack or lift?

The causes can be diverse and may include improper preparation of the natural nail, contamination of the plate with dust, grease, or other residues, choosing an unsuitable adhesion system, incorrect product application, insufficient polymerization, or choosing a formula that is not suitable for the demands of that specific nail.

💡 Recommendation: for optimal results, prepare the nail correctly, use the appropriate adhesion system, and follow the recommended technique and polymerization times.

9.9. How should the Rubber Base be stored correctly?

Keep the product tightly closed, in a cool place, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and UV/LED light. While working, avoid exposing the bottle and brush to the lamp's light and periodically clean the neck of the container before closing.

10.10. Are the POWER COUPLE Rubber Bases HEMA-Free?

Yes. POWER COUPLE Rubber bases have a HEMA-Free formula, just like the Builder Gels in corresponding shades, so you can choose between the two formulas while keeping the same shade.

The absence of HEMA can be an important criterion for technicians and clients who wish to avoid this ingredient, known for its sensitization potential.

11.11. What is the Get Nails Frame Sticker and how is it used?

How to use

120 sec. 36W UV

60/90 sec. MultiLED/LED

Prepare the natural nail by removing its shine and, of course, the cuticle area - do not forget to remove any trace of dust and degrease the nail plate. You can use GN Pure Acetone or GN Nail Prep.
Apply, as preferred, one of the following: 007 Bond Primer / Primer Ultra Bond / Primer Acid Based / Primer Pen - only on the natural nail, to increase adhesion.

For nails with adhesion problems or during the summer, we recommend Primer Acid Based or Primer Pen Acid.

After 30-40 seconds, apply the 1st layer of base over the entire nail and cure completely.

💡 Due to the high content of pigments and effect particles in this base, we recommend that the 1st layer be made of a transparent base, such as Bonder Base Gel | Rubber Base 1 Clear | GetLac Base - Liquid Base | GetLac Base & Finish or NA Fiber Base.

Apply the 2nd layer of Rubber Base and cure completely.
Apply Top coat and cure completely.
If necessary, remove the dispersion layer with Cleanser.

💡 For an intense and long-lasting shine, it is recommended to degrease with Cleanser approximately 2-3 minutes after the curing process is complete.

Apply cuticle oil for a neat look.

💡 Tips & Tricks Rubber Base

Correctly prepare and degrease the natural nail and apply the adhesion system suitable for the client and the working technique.
For optimal adhesion, we recommend initially applying a thin layer of Clear base, followed by the Rubber Base with high pigment content or effect particles, for leveling and color.
Avoid applying excessively thick layers.

In the case of pigmented products, excessive thickness can lead to insufficient curing of the material.

Gently shake the bottle before application.

Pigments can settle – with gentle movements you ensure homogenization without bubbles.

Initially apply a very thin "sliding" layer.

You ensure the ideal base for the second layer – which brings the desired intensity.

Keep in a cool environment away from direct lamp light.

You prevent the product from thickening or curing prematurely and maintain the ideal fluidity.

Use the original brush for applying the base + a thin brush for the cuticle area.

You get a perfect contour and a “color under the cuticle” look.

Wipe the brush well before returning to the cuticle area.

You avoid excess product and running into the sides.

Combine Rubber Base with techniques such as ombré, marble, or babyboomer.

Use the Ombre Design Brush or Ombre Design Sponge Set for blending.

For personalized looks, combine with a contrasting or complementary colored base.

You can achieve creative manicures with unique effects.
